Vinren never holds your money. Rent and deposits move directly from the renter to the landlord through our payments partner, Stripe.
For Renters
Browsing listings, applying, requesting showings, messaging, submitting maintenance requests, and more are always free.
Rental application
Apply to any listing at no charge. To keep applications meaningful for landlords, there is a limit on how many you can submit per day.

Tenant screening
A landlord may ask you to complete a credit and background screening with the screening company they use. Going ahead is your choice: you authorize it with that company directly, it tells you if there is a fee, and only that landlord receives the result. If you already applied on Zillow, the landlord may accept that screening instead. Vinren charges nothing and never sees your report.

The provider sets its own price and bills you or the applicant, as you choose, and delivers the report to you. Vinren adds no fee and never handles the payment or the report.
